Why was ASimplePeace created?
ASimplePeace was created out of frustration with 54-years of failure to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which has overflowed the Middle East and is now engulfing the entire world in bloodshed. Diplomacy has not worked. Political machinations and assasinations have not solved the problem. It is time for a fresh and direct approach. Our 5-Point Plan, described in the White Paper section of this Website, can be a good start.
How does ASimplePeace differ from past efforts to resolve the conflict in Israel and occupied Palestine?
As described in the White Paper, ASimplePeace has a multi-faceted, but elegantly simple, solution that will not only stop the violence, it will also co-opt those who perpetrate it, not with more violence but by providing them with a viable alternative that will rapidly and demonstrably generate peace and prosperity first in the Middle East and eventually in virtually every similarly troubled region. Peace breakers will actually become peace enforcers.
Is ASimplePeace pro-Israel or pro-Palestinian?
ASimplePeace is a non-violent, non-partisan organization made up of members of virtually all faiths and races who want a safer world for themselves, for their children, and generations to come.
Can anyone join ASimplePeace?
There's an old saying, "You're only as good as your Rolodex." The more people who can lend a shoulder to our cause, the better. The only requirement for membership is a desire for religious, ethnic and racial harmony and justice throughout the world. While these are sweet sounding words, they can be achieved, but only if enough people are presented with a means to stop man's inhumanity to man. The global freedom movement that started when the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain collapsed, combined with unprecedented ability to communicate new ideas for freedom via the Internet, presents us with a powerful platform. Solving the Israel-Palestine situation is only the first step, but it can help defuse the radical fanatic movements that use it as an excuse to wreak havoc, and it can provide a valuable blue-print for resolving other conflicts around the world.

Why not maintain the current course of action of the Israelis and Palestinians?
Because the current course is negotiation punctuated by violence, from both sides, that is intended to intimidate the other. You don't heal a wound by picking at it for 54 years. It is time to try something else. See the White Paper.
In a nutshell, what is the difference between the current course of action and ASimplePeace's 5-Point Plan?
Our 5-Point Plan solution is completely positive, non-violent, and deals vigorously with the future and what needs to be accomplished when its first 4 points are achieved. It makes the combatants and even their radical elements willing participants in maintaining the peace and building strong infrastructures for both Israel and Palestine. When the area is secured, this plan even has a provision for fostering a robust entrepreneurial environment reminiscent of the saying, "If I feed you a fish, I will need to feed you tomorrow. If I teach you to fish, I will feed you for life."

Is ASimplePeace a not-for-profit entity?
Yes, but it is not tax-exempt. Thus, contributions to ASimplePeace are not tax-deductible.
The reason for this is because tax-exempt organizations are subject to governmental control in the sense that certain activities, like political lobbying, are not allowed. ASimplePeace prefers to remain unfettered and free of any restrictions associated with such governmental control. People are dying daily in a brutal cycle of violence and retaliation. We must be fleet and flexible.
How will my financial contribution be applied?
Financial contributions will applied to general expenses associated with operating most organizations, including: salaries; general and administrative costs of running an office; and a vigorous public relations, advertising and lobbying campaign dedicated to bringing Palestinians and Israelis closer to each other on the world stage. As described in the attached White Paper, the first step will be three-fold: to present the truth about what happened to the Palestinian people in 1948; to present an accurate picture of Palestinians as noble fellow human beings rather than savages who were pushed off their land; and to educate the American Congress -- many of whom are too young to recall what really happened and have had to rely on a one-sided perspective from the American press.
Has this approach been tried?
Yes. Certain Arab-American groups attempted a modest public relations campaign but it was under-funded and was not as vigorous and multi-faceted as what ASimplePeace proposes to do. In fact, ASimplePeace and its constituents can be the beneficiaries of many valuable lessons learned from such prior public relations efforts.

How can I help?
In addition to financial contributions, you can continue to visit this Website to educate yourself about the causes of terror and violence throughout the world. From time to time, we will suggest various publications and other Internet sites to help you. You can write to your Congressional Representatives in the House and Senate and to President Bush, encouraging them to review the facts as they will be presented on an ongoing basis at our Website. Send us a copy as well.
